Geneva or New York: Call for comments on the next venue for the WSIS Forum 2011

The WSIS Forum aims at facilitating the implementation of WSIS Action Lines through exchanging of experiences and providing opportunities to establish partnerships among stakeholders. The 2010 Forum attracted more than 600 physical and 1500 remote participants from around the world. In order to give further momentum to this coordination process and to enhance its impact, the WSIS Forum organizes are considering the possibility of holding the next Forum in New York.

Everyone concerned is now invited to express their views on moving the venue of the WSIS Forum from Geneva to New York for 2011 by participating in the Group Discussion.

Purpose of the platform is to facilitate information gathering and exchange, and common development of ideas and projects among the multi-stakeholder team for each Action Line through collaborative and community oriented online tools.
