Udemy Puts Ivy-League Profs on Your Desktop for Free (cost)

Udemy, the course creation site, seems to be expanding quite well. They are now offering a new teaching function with free-of-cost courses from reputable professers.

The free-of-cost education market seems to be growing with OERu, MITx, Nixty, Saylor.org, UoP, P2PU, and Mozilla badges among many others leading the way.

They're all based on ICT literacy, ownership of devices, regular-flow good-value electricty, and access to the internet (which is not a given for many developing countries).

Some are based completely or partially on OERs. Some are global in scope and others focus on the students from their own countries.

They're all good and we need many more to increase awareness from their marketing efforts and cross-promotion (like this message from the OER WSIS KC). It will be excellent to see how many we have at the end of 2012.
