Background on the UNGIS Open Consultation
In accordance with the WSIS outcome documents and the UN General Assembly Resolution 60/252, the Chief Executive Board (CEB) tasked, at its last meeting in Nairobi in April 2011, the UN Group on the Information Society (UNGIS) to prepare, on the basis of an open consultation, an action plan to organize high-level meeting on the WSIS Review. The Action Plan would be presented to the CEB meeting in April 2012.

I think one necessary objective should be to find solutions for sharing the experiences and knowledge between countires. Many imrovements happen after long practices and examinations, that sharing them can make the other trials more speedy. When a region have practiced a solution for an specific problem and after several workouts have found one solution that works, the other countries can benefited without moving the same pathway againe and againe.

I suggest collaborating for planning a conference about WSIS +10 review. Before that, we have to define the plan of the conference and deadline for papers submission. The submitted papers will be revised by international experts. Then, participants present their papers. In this way, we can have several ideas and discussions. In the closure of the conference, we can summaries the conference and define other perspectives.

1- Collect reviews on the event, by groups and individuals,
2- Publish a summary,
3- Collect proposals for evolutions,
4- Call an informal meeting, with remote participation, for discussing proposals,
5- Publish outcome of meeting, and launch poll on resulting options.

It is an excellent idea and we should propose plans according to country-wise importance. For that we should invite collaborators from different areas.Then there will be more areas for this successful initiatives. Towards this big objective, there is a great importance for a meeting of invited people who can discuss plans and programme according to country-wise improtance. This meeting would a break-through for several other collaborative initiatives. Let's unite.

it is very difficult in developing countries to achieve what you have in mine and there are many challenges needed to be solved. it is very essential to share knowldge ,, experiences and best practices with each other. and this can be done online but it is very Important to have country level meetings once or twice every year to evaluate WSIS Implementation in each country. The reports of these meetings can be submitted to the WIS Forum each year.

Je souhaite que cette consultation soit le plus ouvert et qu'on permette à tous profils aussi divers que possible d'y avoir accès. Que ce ne soit pas seulement une réunion entre des personnes du système des nations unies et ses partenaires mais qu'elle aies au délà.
En partant du jeune, au paysan dans le coin le plus reculé de la fôret amazonniène ou équatoriale que chacun puisse donner son analyse et que le UNGIS mette tout en oeuvre pour que cela soit possible.
